Position Title: MS SQL Server DBA

Location: Hyderabad

Job Type: Full Time

Shift Timings: Rotational Shifts (24/7)

CTC Rs. 6 lakhs to Rs.12 lakhs p.a.

Job Summary:

The SQL Server DBA will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical DB servers, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of the applications. This is a hands-on position requiring solid technical skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• 4 to 8 years of experience in database administration, operations and production support
• Experience in database and application performance tuning
• Experience with SQL and PL/SQL
• Experience in 24x7 support for critical production systems.
• Experience in Monitoring, Back up/ Recovery Management, DB Provisioning/de-provisioning, DB refresh/restore, HA/DRE, Patching, migration, replication and upgrades
• Understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management
• Experience in tools such as Service Now, JIRA, Confluence
• Ability to document solutions and train operational teams
• Experience with AWS, or Azure is a plus
• Experience with automation, Ansible, Python, Terraform is a plus
• Experience in Sybase, Oracle, OEM, Postgres, Cloudera, Hadoop is a plus.

• Experience in financial domain is a major plus
